Sally Sund

Sally Sund passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on January 13, 2026 at the age of 71, in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sally lived a life marked by strength and devotion. She was known for her kindness, generosity, humor, and had a deep love for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Paul. Her parents Stanley and Betty, and sister Sandy. Sally is lovingly survived by her three daughters Shannan, Chris, and Amy (Tyler). She is also survived by her grandchildren Aniessa (Angel), Mariah (Crus), Julian, and Kinsley, and great grandchildren Jaivyn, Maya, Xavier, and Lorenzo, along with her sister Anne (Allen). 

Sally worked in a factory in her earlier years. When she wasn’t working, her and Paul were inseparable. They loved taking the grandkids on their weekend excursions, whether it be thrifting, or going to yard sales. They also enjoyed going to the casino in their free time. After Sally retired, she was content being a homebody. Sally enjoyed staying up late watching her TV shows. Sally also had a love for animals, online shopping, playing bingo, and gambling.

Sally will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched, and the love she gave so freely.
