Sandra L. Foehl

Sandra L. Foehl age 85 passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence on September 18, 2024. Sandra was born in 1939 to her parents Ada and Henry Sherry.

Sandra moved to Grand Rapids MI in her 20's, and lived there until her passing.

Sandra worked for over 30 years at GM, retiring as a sewer: Mom loved to sew, becoming adapt at quilting, gifting many to the family.

Sandra had 5 children, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews of whom she was always so proud.

She volunteered at Fredrick Meijer Gardens, for many years and was a part time employee in the gift shop. Sandra loved plants and flowers, obtaining her master gardener certification while working at Fredrick Meijer Gardens, which she was so proud of. Sandra also loved and played golf on a league for many years. She also belonged to ABWA woman's organization for many years, even being president for some of those years, and was very proud of the accomplishments of this group while she was a member.

Sandra is predeceased by her parents Ada M. Sherry, and Henry W. Sherry, brothers William E. Sherry, Henry W. Sherry Jr, sisters Marjorie Cox, Mary Cross, Margaret Quirk, and son James W. Rhodes Jr.

Sandra is survived by sister Jean Gnagi, children Joy Rhodes, (widow of James), Tim (Deb), Rhodes, Lynn (Robert), Miller, Pam (Eric), Wagenvelt, David Foehl.

Cremation has taken place, and a grave side service for family will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Faith Hospice, and Commonwealth Living for all their kind and loving care of mom.
