Scott Persons

Our beloved Scott Persons (also known as Bulldog) age 47 of Grand Rapids; was unexpectedly called home to be with our Lord Jesus and Father in Heaven on October 28, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his father Samuel Persons Jr., Grandma & Grandpa Davidson, Grandma and Grandpa Lent and Grandma and Grandpa Persons.   Scott will be missed dearly and is survived by his mother and step-father Brenda and Wayne Thomas, step-mother Pat Persons, son Cameron, 6 grandchildren: Jace, Lucy, Ariah, Alexander, Greyson and Sara as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Our son Scott was dearly loved.  Becoming a father and grandfather brought him great happiness.   He was a kind hearted friend who would always help his friends, even if it was just being available to listen to your problems.  Scott was a talented artist (inherited from his Grandma Davidson).  He enjoyed being by the water, hiking in nature with his cousin Jake and spending time on the deck at Rogers surrounded by friends around the fire pit.

Scott’s ashes will be released in a private ceremony at a later date.

We will have a memorial and celebration of life at the American Legion D. W. CASSARD - POST 208, 133 44th St SE, Kentwood, Michigan 49548.  Please bring any photos you may have and memories to share.
