Sharon E. Czarnopys

Sharon Elaine (Sullivan) Czarnopys, age 82, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026. 

Born on July 22, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Bert Sullivan and Norma Mosher Sullivan Force.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who dedicated her life to loving and supporting her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Czarnopys, with whom she shared many beautiful years.

Her legacy of love lives on through her children, Amy Lyon and Adam Czarnopys. Sharon was an incredibly proud grandmother who poured endless affection into the lives of her five grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered by Amy’s children: Megan Lyon Vander Heide and her husband Curt, Joshua Lyon and his wife Morgan, and Katelyn Lyon-Czarnopys. Along with great grandchildren Addiline VanderHeide, Aurora, Loki, Johnathan and Michael Lyon.

She is also deeply missed by Adam and his wife Molly’s children, Alexander and Benjamin.

Sharon loved to be a Nana and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She enjoyed the little things in life ~ the beauty of rocks she picked up on her travels, trips to Lake Cecilia, fireflies in the fields, Corona with lime on a hot day and bird watching from her couch.

Sharon’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her memory will remain a guiding light in the hearts of all who knew her.
