Susan Gracy

Gracy, Susan (Susie) Kaye, age 70, of Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. 

Susie was born and raised in Ohio.  Susie loved her Lord, family and friends deeply. She was proceeded in death by her parents, William and Shirley Gracy and her brothers, William Thomas Gracy Jr. and Douglas Lee Gracy.

Susie is survived by her sisters, Pamela S. Trent and Deb Heisler and many nieces and nephews. 

Susie spent many years working in an accounting capacity for Smiths Aerospace (previously Smiths Industries and Lear Siegler) and Family Christian Stores.  Susie was a strong and independent woman who had an unending love of animals, especially cats.  This love of animals is what led her to start up her own pet sitting business.  Susie’s love and devotion will be greatly missed by her furry and human friends. 

Per Susie’s request, cremation has taken place.  In memory of Susie, donations can be made to Crash’s Landing & Big Sid’s Sanctuary. Donations can be made by check or money order mailed to:  Crash’s Landing, 3433 River Hill Drive, Grand Rapids, MI  49534
