Terrance Wayne Stark

Terrance Wayne Stark, aged 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.

Stark was preceded in death by his wife Christine, his parents Leo & Dorothy (Noom) Stark, his brothers Robert and Maxwel, his sister Betty Searl, his grandson Scott M. Allen, and his great granddaughter Faith Stark.

He is survived by his sister Norma Jones, sister in law Dorothy Stark, numerous nieces and nephews; as well as the families of his 3 children:

Dorothy & Ron Vance and their children Jodie, Crystal, Leo, Kayla & Cory, and Ronald Jacob & Emily.

Rodney & Eva Stark and their children Rod Jr, Justin &Debra, and Brandon.

Cindy & Jeff Potgeter and their children Dennis & Tammy and Eric.

His legacy also lives on through his 23 loving great grand children.

Stark held many cherished monikers by those that loved him including Dad, Pops, Bumpa, Gramps, and Grandpa the Great One.

He spent a lifetime enjoying the Michigan wilderness, spending countless days fishing and hunting, as well as searching for morels. He also enjoyed recalling adventures with lifelong friends like Vance & Socks.

Stark not only instilled a love for the Outdoors, but also his strong work ethic and impenetrable sense of humor in his children.

Though the weight of his loss is heavy, we find great comfort knowing that he is with the love of his life, Christine, once again.

As per his wishes, there will not be a public memorial service, electing instead for a private spreading of his ashes by the immediate family. Please feel free to share any of your favorite memories of Stark with the family, as they are appreciated in this time of letting go.
