Terry Lynn (Stone) Wells

Terry Lynn Wells (affectionately known as “Lady”) born on January 13, 1947 in Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully at her Comstock Park home after a courageous five-month battle with cancer on May 16, 2025. Terry was known for her warm and loving nature, endearing her to family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Terry graduated from Comstock Park High School in 1965 where she excelled in academics and participated in many clubs and activities. She continued her education while raising her children and received a dental hygiene degree from Grand Rapids Junior College. She then worked as a dental hygienist for 20 years. When Terry wasn’t working, she loved spending time with her family, listening to Oldies music, watching old black and white movies, reading, and caring for her granddaughter Kayley.

Terry is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Margie Stone, and nephews Joel and Jacob Stone. Terry will be lovingly remembered by her sons; Douglas S. Wells, David Wells, Michael (Ashley) Wells, her precious granddaughter; Kayley Wells, brothers; Daniel (Linda) Stone, Charles Stone, nieces; Christy (Michael) Farthing, Jennifer (Randall) Woudwyk, and her former husband Douglas G. Wells Jr.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday June 29, 2025 between 1pm-4pm at her brother’s residence at 7946 Greendale Dr. Byron Center, MI 49315.
