Thomas Edward Franklin

Thomas Edward Franklin (Frankie), age 64, of Marne Mi, passed away unexpectedly of medical complications on Monday, August 19, 2024. He was born March 2, 1960 to Howard and Betty Franklin who preceded him in death. 

Tom loved all outdoor activities. He played many sports when he was younger and excelled at them. Tom made his living as a mechanic and helped many friends too. If you knew Frankie, he probably worked on your car at some time. 

He was preceded in death by his brothers, John Liszewski and his wife Joan, Tony Liszewski, Mel Franklin, and Ronnie Franklin. Surviving Tom are his siblings Diane and Randy Landheer, Judy Kuieck, Linda and Jim Wood, Patti and Tom Burdick, Randy Franklin, Carol and Pat Hehl, Jim and Laurie Franklin, Pam Beia, Becky and Dan Piotrowski, Bob Franklin, and sister-in-law Velma Liszewski. Tom also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews and many, many great nieces and nephews. Tom also leaves behind his special friends, Tom Zematis, Gary, Ron, Rick, and Tyler.

As per Tom's wishes, cremation has already taken place. A memorial is planned for Tom on September 5th, 2024, at the Marne American Legion Hall, 1469 Arthur St., Marne, Mi., from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. The family would also like to thank the great people at Corewell Health.
