Thomas John MacDonald of Grand Rapids Mi lost his battle with COPD and entered into the arms of the Lord at the age of 63 around January 25th 2025.
Tom was a United States Naval Veteran and fiercely patriotic person. He enjoyed trips to the lakeshore with family in younger years and as time went on loved watching movies, listening to music as well as video and board games.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Nancy MacDonald. Along with his brother Terry MacDonald.
He is survived by his daughters Jessica (Luke) Matthews and Jennifer (Kory) Noel along with their families. He also leaves behind his siblings Timothy (Penny) MacDonald, Tammy (Brian) Achterhof, and Tanya (Jim) Kastelz along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will be holding a springtime service with a military honors burial to follow on Saturday April 26th from 2pm to 4pm at Grace Bible Fellowship 2216 18 Mile Rd. Casanova, MI. The service will begin at 2:30pm with Rev. Lew VanderMeer officiating.
