Timothy C. Nye

Timothy Craig Nye, affectionately known as “Timmy,” entered the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 16, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born on September 21, 1957, in Detroit, Timmy spent his childhood in Livonia before moving to Cheboygan at the age of 14 with his parents, Harry and Glendale Nye.

Timmy had a lifelong passion for the outdoors. Some of his most treasured memories were hunting and fishing alongside his father, who taught him bird calls, marksmanship, and a deep respect for nature. He especially loved spending quiet hours in his hunting blind and on the water with family and friends. That love of the outdoors became one of the greatest gifts he passed on to his own son and family.

Timmy devoted 43 years of his life to the HVAC industry, working in heating and air conditioning throughout his career. He spent many years with Behler-Young and concluded his career with William Distributing before retiring. He was respected by coworkers and customers alike for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Above all else, Timmy was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and fiercely loyal friend. He valued family and friendship above all, and his steady presence, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Timmy is survived by his beloved wife, Lori; his children, Nicole, David, and Becky; his ten cherished grandchildren; and his niece, Jamie Nye.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Faith Hospice in Byron Center, Michigan, in appreciation for the compassionate care and support they provided during Timmy's final days.
