Mrs. Vivian Jean (Bush), 1/23/1925 - 4/23/2020, formerly of Grand Rapids and currently from Grand Haven, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 23, 2020, after valiantly fighting Alzheimer's Disease. She married Gordon L. Berry on April 24, 1944.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordy on January 10, 2009, her parents, Joe and Monica Bush, her mother and father-in-law, Loyd and Edith Berry, brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Squires, Myron "Mike" Berry, and Wayne "Bob" Berry, sisters-in-law, Phyllis Squires, Pearl, Nancy, Carolyn and Marilyn Berry, and daughters-in-law, Carla and Linda Lou Berry. She will be lovingly remembered by her five children, Allan (Kathy) Berry, Dale (Eloise) Berry, Darryl (Wendy) Berry, Janice (Rex) Pease, and Denise (Vern) Neeley; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lloyd "Roger" Berry, Dwayne "Dick" (Virginia) Berry, Joyce Berry and David "Dave" Berry. Vivian is also survived by her grandchildren,Shelley (Jeremy) Terrill, Scott (Carol)Berry, Wendy (Matt) Ensing, Brian Berry, Monica (Corey) Lamance, Jill (Sebastian) Malarz, Jennifer (Joe) Dileonardo, Billie Jo (Scott) Meaney, Matt Pease, Tony (Laurie) Pease, Heather Neeley, Chad (Liz) Neeley, Lisa (Mark) Sokolowski, and Becky Neeley several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Vivian worked as a photographer early on, and was a bowling instructor at Chase Lanes Bowling Alley for many years. Vivian's family meant everything to her and she was loved by all who knew her. Rest in peace, we all love you!
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Senior Resources of West Michigan, 560 Seminole Rd, Norton Shores, MI 49444 will be appreciated. Interment will be in Fairplains Cemetery. The family welcomes memories, pictures and messages on the Tribute Wall.
