Wayne A. Schumaker

Wayne A. Schumaker passed away peacefully in his sleep, in to the arms of Jesus on August 28, 2024.

Wayne was heartbroken over the loss of his wife a year and half ago; they were married for thirty- seven years. Wayne loved to travel and go bird watching. Wayne enjoyed taking pictures of birds and seeing what others couldn’t behind his camera. He also loved to talk to everyone he was a good friend and brother. Wayne served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He will be dearly missed by many.

Wayne is preceded in death by his wife Nioma (Kohlenburger) Schumaker, parents Raymond and Delores Schumaker, brother Gary Schumaker, sister in-law Carolyn Schumaker, and his beloved dogs Jack and Bailey. Wayne is survived by his siblings Dale and Ellen Schumaker, April and Ed Novakowski, Lynn Schumaker, Dawn and Brian Klein, Joy and Lonnie Harris, Gregg and Jarrie Schumaker, Terry and Tammy Schumaker, and sister in-law Judy Schumaker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and his support cat Lily.

A celebration of Wayne’s life will take place on Saturday October 5, 2024 at Holy Cross Lutheran located at 1481 Baldwin Street Jenson, Michigan 49428 from 12pm to 3pm.
