William Louis Brown

William (Bill) Brown of Coopersville age 84, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on December 9, 2020.

Bill was an Army Veteran who retired from Haworth in Holland and worked for Pinkerton Security in Grand Rapids.  He also worked for several roofing companies when he was younger and was a journeyman roofer.   He was a parishioner of St. Mary's in Marne. Bill loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, gardening, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Brown; daughter Billie (Michael) Barszcz, his brother Gerald (Rose) Brown and sisters Mary Ann (Roger) Booth and Rebecca (George deceased) Burnett. And many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law- Betty Grimaldi and Ethel Farrington. He was preceded in death by his son David Brown; parents Elmer Brown (Lucille) and Marian Hudson (Robert) brothers Robert and Theodore Brown and brother Daniel Hudson.  He has 3 living Aunts and Uncles James Brown, Ella Jane Pettit, and Twila Smith.

The graveside service will be held this Spring at Cove Hill Cemetery beside his son and Dad.
