William K. “Bill” Hansen, age 72 of Allendale, MI passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, March 7, 2025. Raised on the family dairy farm in Allendale, he was born on February 2, 1953, and was the son of Kern and Mavis (Cook) Hansen. Bill attended the local schools and went on to own several businesses throughout his life including a body shop, a signage and graphics company and worked at repairing fiberglass boats, a job he thoroughly appreciated. In his spare time, he enjoyed his cars, especially his Corvette, golfing, old Westerns on TV and country music, but he most importantly loved being surrounded by those he loved. Bill is survived by his wife, Kimberly; his son, Lucus (Mimi) Hansen; his precious grandson, Hezekiah; stepdaughter, Monique (Dan) Higbee; step-grandchildren, Hannah and Logan; his brother, Curt (Carol) Hansen; nieces, nephews, and several dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Pam, Faith, and Hope; and by his brother, Victor. The service to celebrate Bill’s life will take place Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at Cedar Church, 2025 Baldwin St., Jenison, MI 49428 where friends may join Bill’s family for refreshments and fellowship following the services.
