Zonetta Mae (Hunt) Vredenburg

Zonetta passed after a brief illness surrounded by her children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 Years Max Vredenburg in December 2010.

She will be missed by her children Wayne (Lynda) Vredenburg, Brenda (Larry) Bowling and Keith

Vredenburg, 2 Grand Puppies, 6 Grand Children, 8 Great Grand Children, sisters Alena Jacoby and

Carol Abeare, Brother Clarence (Mary) Hunt and her late Husband’s siblings Donna (Theodore) Stressman, Arthur (Barb) Vredenburg, Diane (Dave) Sullivan, Joanne (Jack) Cooley and numerous nephews and nieces and family friends

Zonetta grew up in Stanwood MI. She married Max in 1957 and moved to Grand Rapids, MI and started

their family. Zonetta and Max enjoyed square dancing, Bluegrass music, snowmobiling, camping, and riding their Honda Goldwing and traveling throughout the US.

Zonetta had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening and had a veritable jungle in her living room. Her children’s friends were always welcome and called her Mom V or Mrs. V. A Friendly and outgoing person Zonetta would frequently have conversations with complete strangers while out and about. Zonetta had a quick wit and enjoyed reading

Per her wishes, Zonetta has been cremated. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of your choice if so desired.
